Hi, I'm Tricia… I must admit I have the best job in the world by creating photography sessions that are truly creative, one of a kind, and reflect who you really are. I love capturing those little giggles, twinkles in the eyes, and baby cuddles. My style is defined as bright and fun, but I also love the dark and moody shots too. My studio is fully equipped, and I have the best time incorporating props and backdrops into your session to create art pieces to display in your home. I am a studio light photographer for maternity, newborns, babies, children, and families. As the founder of McLelland Photography, my previous life was in the corporate world. My husband and I had a very difficult time having children, and we were over the moon in 2012 when our son was born. I have taken thousands of photos of my son to date and my passion for children photography was inspired by him. As a result, I opened my studio in Oakville and haven’t looked back. As a photographer, my passion is to connect with my clients, whether it is capturing a sweet moment between a mother and their child, catching a curious expression, or savouring the sleepy sweetness of a newborn. I have been awarded Best Baby Photographer of 2018 by the International Baby Photography Awards and I am fully certified as a newborn photographer and newborn safety with the apnpi (Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International).
