Portraits are something I love creating. Of all the different kinds of photography, this is my "home". For me, portrait photography is about creating images that will be cherished and spark fond memories. They tell a wordless story. I work primarily in the Sunland-Tujunga, Burbank and Glendale areas of Los Angeles. I am particularly fond of two of life's major events: newborn photography (infants aged 0-1 year), and high school senior portraits. When I was a teacher, I saw how important it is to capture memories of one's children. Kids grow and change fast. There is no second chance to "go back" and get professional photographs later. I really believe that photos are "made", not just taken, and I pride myself on getting great shots of newborns, infants and teens. One of my better talents is capturing those little expressions kids make when they are little. My portrait packages are true works of artistry. You'll love them. MY HISTORY: I am often asked "How did you learn to be a photographer?" The answer is: just by getting out there and doing it. Years and years of practice as an amateur, and then intensive study under the tutelage of awesome professionals here in Los Angeles. And truly, being a teacher for nearly 20 years gives me an advantage in working with kids and teens and getting the best out of them on camera.
