Hi! My name is Jayna and I am a newborn photographer serving the Dallas metroplex, including Wylie, Plano, Sachse, Richardson, McKinney & Frisco. I provide custom portraits, fine art pieces & digital items. Dating back to my school years, I began taking photographs the old fashioned way using a Pentax 35mm film camera and developing my own prints in the darkroom. My passions in art eventually led me to completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 and soon after a second diploma from the Art Institute of Dallas in 2006. In 2007 I married my sweetheart, and together we have 2 beautiful children. My love for photography was re-kindled through recording their priceless moments and capturing their innocent beauty. Eventually, my journey as a new photographer led me to a accepting an opportunity photographing day-old newborns in the hospital. For 3 years I worked alongside NICU nurses, learning everything “hands-on” from proper handling, soothing techniques and newborn safety.
