Hi! I’m Tanya Jacobs, a Durban-based wedding photographer. I started photographing in high school, using my best friend as a model and my grandad’s Sony. My first DSLR was a Panasonic Lumix and then a Nikon. I still use and love Nikon. Family is everything to me. I am married to an amazing man, Christiaan, who is often my assistant and support at weddings (and in life) and am the proud mom-owner to three Scotties and one cat. I am organised, passionate and a little too obsessed with ensuring details are perfect. I love travelling and spending my time doing anything creative. In 2015, my goal is to broaden my photography to include more newborn styled shoots. I believe capturing important and special days in a person’s life is a blessing and to capture the very first few days of a baby is an honour.
