I’m Suzanne, a portrait photographer based in Port Elizabeth specialising in maternity and newborn, through your little one’s first year and their first birthday party cake smash.

Pinwheel Pics was established in 2015 after I fell in love with photography, particularly sharing precious moments between parents and their children.

The most beautiful moments happen organically when a family is relaxed and comfortable. This is why I love having the opportunity to shoot in the privacy and comfort of your own home. I also shoot in my intimate home studio and enjoy working outdoors. I was rated in the Top 10 of Admired in Africa toddlers category and have ranked in the Admired in Africa Top 20 Portrait Photographers 2015. Even though I am not a formally trained photographer, I have developed my skills while second shooting for a well-established videography company, My World Creations. I believe that this has taught me the value of capturing precious fleeting moments. I am full-time music teacher at a school in Port Elizabeth but shoot every chance I get.
