Hello. My name is Nickola and I would love to photograph you and capture your family memories. I am based in the leafy-green suburb of Kloof, just outside Durban, where I work from my beautiful home-based boutique style studio. Celebrating your pregnancy journey and the birth or arrival of your precious newborn baby, is one of life's most amazing experiences. There’s is nothing more precious than tiny, wiggling, stretching little newborns — those first few moments, days and weeks vanish in the blink of an eye. It is my job to capture every adorable detail and create beautiful, timeless images that you'll cherish forever. Before becoming a mom for the first time, I was also a qualified BASI Pilates Instructor. This is where my interest in anatomy and human movement began. As a result, I have a strong understanding of newborn safety (something I never compromise on) as well as a sincere respect for new moms and women as we reach and celebrate the many milestones that make up our own lives! I would love to show YOU just how incredibly beautiful you are — as a mother, as a wife and as a women. I want you to celebrate every chapter of your life’s journey. And I want you exist in photographs so you can pass them down to your grandchildren to look back on and enjoy. Let me help you celebrate your life’s journey, whether it be falling pregnant, having a baby, celebrating your children’s milestones, laughing with your family, or simply embracing your 40’s, 60’s or even your 80’s. I come from a strong film photography, PR and marketing background (from Marylhurst University in Oregon, USA - 1997) and have been passionate about creating and capturing images since I was a child.
