I was born in the large and busy City of Halifax, Nova Scotia and I am the youngest of seven siblings, each of whom I love, cherish and hold very close to my heart. My life brought me to the Province of New Brunswick in 1997, at the tender age of 12. I married the love of my life and welcomed our first child in March of 2014. Photography has always been a love of mine for several years but Dominique McKeil Portrait was founded in 2014 following the inspiring birth of my son. Although having been taking photographs for years; I began narrowing my concentration upon newborn portraiture for the last year and a half. Details are so important to me and my business; especially when it comes to a newborn portrait, so perfecting that perfect image is very important to me and presenting my clients with an exquisite gallery that they will cherish forever is my goal. Every roll, every smile, and every tiny toe and finger; I aim to capture every detail. My tiny clients are only tiny for what seems like a blink of an eye, so capturing their first moments is an opportunity that I am very honoured to undertake.
