Many people say they found photography, but in reality photography found me. My journey started with a cheapo (expensive to me at the time) point and shoot camera 6 years ago. I had no clue what I was doing but something inside me wanted to keep exploring the world of family and child photography. When I say I did all kinds of photography when I first started, I mean it. From boudoir to weddings, families, small children, and more recently newborns. After taking a few years to figure out what direction I wanted to go in in life all signs pointed to newborn and young children. They are only brand new and free spirited for so long, and having a job that captures those details for parents for eternity is the best reward there is to photography. I’m a south eastern Illinois photographer. I’m located in Sumner, IL about 30 minutes from the south western border of Indiana. I have a small studio dedicated to newborns and children under the age of 5. I’m married with 2 small boys ages 5 and 2. They are crazy and a perfect copy of my husband and myself. We each have our own mini me and I love it.
