Hi! I’m Bec, from Bec Gordon Photography. I love being able to share in the excitement of pregnancy, joy and love of a newborn to a family, watch as a baby grows or capture the deep connection a family shares. I feel so lucky that I get to work with such kind and wonderful people each day and call it my job! When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me enjoying quality family time with my husband and children. Be that just playing outside, cooking, going on adventures and holidays, or watching them at one of their many activities: swimming, dancing and sport class! There’s never a dull moment in our house! After graduating from the Australian Catholic University with a degree in Exercise Science and Monash University with a Bachelor of Teaching, I was a primary school teacher for 6 years before my daughter was born. I have also been a dance teacher for over 14 years, so, I guess working with children and families is where my passion and heart lies! Whilst primary school teaching, I completed a Diploma in Professional Photography through the Photography Institute, then in late 2014 I started my own business and have never looked back! I am based in Narre Warren North, Victoria (35kms from Melbourne CBD). The studio is my little sanctuary and my ‘happy place’ where I can be calm, creative and relaxed. I would absolutely love to be able to share the space with you and help create some beautiful memories.
