I am a collector. I collect moments for people. My JOB and my JOY is that I can freeze those moments for clients. So that people can look back with nostalgia at artfully produced pictures of a specific time of their lives.
I started in newborn and maternity photography in 2011, when my then employer realised that I adored working with babies.
Since I had my own tiny sweet pea in 2012, I started Sweet Pea Photography. I specialise in children, maternity and newborn photography.

The newborn’ness of a tiny baby is like a shooting star. It’s such a beautiful thing and it glows for such a brief time that you are left with only the memory of witnessing it’s enchantment and the joy that it touched your heart. It’s almost as if it never happened at all.
What an honour it is to capture this fleeting stage of newness in a photograph that will be like a time machine poised to transport you back to enjoy this precious stage again and again and that can be treasured for many lifetimes.
With over 4 years experience as a professional photographer, Bronwyn Mostert will ensure that your session is comfortable and safe for you and your newborn. With utmost care and love, we’ll work together, at the BLM Photography studio or in your home, to create beautiful and natural images of your newborn. We’ll capture the love that you share and the love that you have for your new baby as you begin this journey of a new life.

My love for photographing babies started when my first born arrived in 2010, being a mom opened a whole new meaning to photographs for me. Being able to capture these timeless moments for other families over these years has been an absolute privilege!

Photography is something I have always been passionate about. The ability to freeze a moment, to capture real, raw emotion … is truly magical.
Being a primary school teacher for 10 years supplied me with beautiful moments of growth and development before my very eyes. Gradually all the surfaces of my classrooms got covered in photographs of such evidence. I was camera happy to say the least!
After having children of my own and experiencing their precious moments, I decided to study photography further.
Professional photography has allowed me to continually explore my passion – which is people (especially the little kind).
I get the privilege of creatively capturing special moments – from the beauty of preggy moms to the innocence and vulnerability of newborns, from the noisy delight that is toddlers to the blossoming attitude of teens and everything in between.
What a joy!
