All of my life I have wanted to take photos people, especially newborns. When I was a child, about 7 years old, I was obsessed with Anne Geddes, I used to want to be her when I grew up, and so I would take photos of dolls in flower pots and dolls in my garden in costumes I made for them.. My mum had a film SLR that i would use to take all the photos, then she would get the photos developed (imagine what the people developing her films thought with a whole roll of dolls in the garden) and i would put the photos in a little Anne Geddes photo album and call it my folio.. yep that was me! when I was 19 I studied photography and competed my diploma of photography a few years later. And now this is what I do everyday, taking photos of your families, maternity sessions, and babies. I love what I do, its so much more then a career to me, its my calling, I'm so passionate about what I do, and I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love everyday! I love how happy newborns make people, I love all there little details and being able to capture them for you to remember forever, I love that each baby is so beautiful, tiny and amazing.. and I love the sneaky cuddles I get to squeeze in between sets. .. so basically, I just love it all!
